LolliShops Support Group

Your place to speak freely about LS.

Greetings LolliShops Vendors,
We are rapidly closing in on February. I am really excited! February is when LolliShops.com extends our new reduced rates to the vendors.
I am proud of the new fee structure and I think it is going to really benefit all types of vendors--
I want to give you a preview of the new fees today, but first--let's take care of a few updates:
Here is the new batch of important links--bookmark these today!

This last one is a very useful PayPal shipping profile guide. LolliShops plans to move away from the PayPal shopping cart but until then, we can make it work for us! The Ad management is your place to stay on top of our ad campaign. If you're currently involved in a Stampington Co-Op Ad--stop in there and see how things are functioning.

You'll notice that LolliShops.com has closed it forums. You know, the forums were on a trial run. I love the idea of the forums because of the sense of community and the spirit of unity and involvement but I was keeping a close eye on them. Over this last weekend--the forums took turn for the worse. I had to consult my lawyer by calling him at home on a Saturday and after explaining the details, he advised me to quickly close them down because of the legal issues they were presenting to LolliShops as a company. I know people will be left to assume it was for personal reasons but I assure you--the forums had some serious issues that LolliShops.com, being a baby company, could not afford to have hanging around our necks as we try to leap forward this year. I'll miss the fellowship but I won't miss the drama. The blog will be your source for updates and giveaways and important information--so stay tuned. Also, don't forget our "All Dolled Up" grand opening event is approaching! If you need more information--contact me!
If you ever need personal support, email me at lollishops@gmail.com
If you need technical support, send a support request email through your store controls.

Now then, here are the new fees! We'd love to hear your feedback!

$180 for a year! Wow she loves to get people's money up front, I wonder how many people have that much faith in LS right now?

I know right!

Oh Please, you would have to have a short circuit somewhere to upfront that kind of money after the display this past weekend. If that didn't show people her instability, what will it take? Anyone who sticks around and wastes more time and money in that venue, is either wearing blinders or has their head in a cloud.

Oh gosh...I am so dissapointed...I thought she said she was "closing in February"! DARN IT!

I got the email too and would have fallen asleep if I'd chosen to read it! LONG ENOUGH?!?!?....funny since I asked her to close my account weeks ago before all the drama and this is what I received back....Don't anyone bother chastising me for copying and pasting her email...at this point I just don't care.

Sadie says...

"Amazing how "unprofessional" has come to mean different things to different people. Smacks of calling ghe kettle black. Good day to you.
~Sadie"

The only thing I could think of was a angry looking person saying in possibly a slight british accent...."Good day to you......(slight pause....) I SAID GOOD DAY!"

She amazes me! 180.00 per year???!?!? I don't think it will be around in a year!

BYE ALL!

wow, i didn't get an email oh, and i think this is a way to rake in the fees, actually, because you know her die hard supporters are going to fork over the money to show their support.

It would be a great deal IF it worked, but for me...a waste of $$....total waste.

Oh, I love how there is no mention of a refund or discount for those people (me included) who paid higher fees in the beginning. That was the main thing that pissed me off and when I told her so she asked why I assumed the worst, well he's my answer, not a single mention of all those who already paid her higher fees, she got her money so she obviously couldn't care less about those who opened with her from the beginning.

Oh yeah and the only legal protection she wanted was to cover her own ass for all the things *she* said about other people. I was in the forms that night and didn't see anything anyone else said that would cause legal issues (or did I miss something?)

I was not there but I am guessing part of the "liability" problem lies with the fact the fees are changing and some people (from what I am reading now) were asking about being refunded and stuff. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong but if she made any promises or responded to any of that in any way, with the forum open she could be held to whatever she said.

I have read everything I can find and I still have a big question, which is really none of my business, but if anyone knows.....what was said to offend one vendor who was there from the beginning (I don't want to name names) to leave? This person is nothing but kind and I have never read a single word from her that was in any way out of line.
